Thus, we seek to present the true facts, unaffected by agenda or biases. We aim to set our own opinions aside as we work to uphold principles of independence and fairness.  As part of that effort, our writers and analysts avoid the public expression of political opinion and public involvement in the political process.

While we do share news stories and other journalism pieces, we are careful not to be seen as endorsing or opposing a political figure or position in Nigeria.

We may participate in the political process as voters, because we also have responsibilities as individual citizens of Nigeria. But we keep our votes to ourselves as a matter of principle. Our goal is to be open-minded in all of our work. We avoid doing anything that compromises our ability to perform our task with independence and fairness. This policy applies to everyone who is tied to the AdvoKC team.

We are committed to telling stories and track promises in a unique African style and not from a third party report. Our analysts and writers will carefully read through transcripts, speeches, news stories, press releases, and campaign brochures to analyse promises made by elected officials.

Our goal is deepen political participation and provide relevant information that will inform citizens decision during election period. We do this by analysing the promises made by any elected public official during electioneering process.
